Our client has a property portfolio consisting of multiple freeholds, development sites, and long leasehold assets.

We are recruiting for an Asset Manager to support the Head of Property in the effective management of the existing property portfolio, reducing costs and identifying revenue generating opportunities. 

Role responsibilities to include:

  • Managing relationships and negotiating with existing landlords and landlords managing agents on all lease and landlord and tenant issues across all brands
  • Rent review, lease renewal strategy and management of current estate ensuring that rents are reviewed, and leases renewed on the most favourable terms
  • Service Charge and rating negotiation a
  • Managing all Landlords consents, License for Alterations, additional space requirements and planning applications
  • Instructing solicitors and agents with regards to all existing leases ensuring value for money alongside effective contractual relationships
  • Co-ordinate with Accounts to assist managing the Insurance Portfolio inclusive of new sites and restaurant current estate
  • Ensure that the allocated assets are managed efficiently and cost effectively
  • Ensure adequate delivery of day to day management in liaison with property
  • Review all tenant applications
  • Ensure the timely collection of arrears for each asset
  • Undertake regular property inspections. 

Experience:

  • Must have commercial property experience
  • Chartered Surveyor
  • Previous Manager a multi-site portfolio
  • Previous experience in similar role is essential
