This is a career opportunity for an experienced Design Manager to work for a leading regional Main Contractor who specialise in new build and refurbishment projects. The company has been operating for over 30+ years and has a strong reputation and client base with a high percentage of repeat business. The company has recently been awarded a framework of new build school projects ranging from £5M - £16M across Greater London and travel to this area may be required, but from a West Midlands office base. 

The role - Design Manager

You will be an experienced Design Manager for a main contractor (Not architecture practic side) specialising in Education projects and you will have built one or more new build schools. The role will be reporting to a Project Director and will be responsible for managing and controlling the Design on multiple projects in accordance with the company policies and procedures. You will be able to work in a fast paced environment where attention to detail is of utmost importance and the quality of the build is of an exceptional standard.

To qualify for this position you must have recent experience working on new build schools in the UK for a PLC or established main contractor as Project Manager or above and have a proven track record for delivery on projects of at least £10Million. Ideally will have completed a degree or HNC/HND in Construction.
