Case Manager 

Are you used to working in a challenging and public facing environment? Do you have an interest in Social Housing or Property? Are you used to working in a fast paced environment? If so then this could be the perfect role for you! 

I am working with an established Housing Company located in Stratford, with easy transport links and a friendly, team-player environment - this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your knowledge within Social Housing and develop into the privately rented and sales area of the business. They are looking for a Case Manager to join their team to manage a range of tenure property types. Knowledge of the Housing Sector is essential as you will liaise with tenants on a daily basis; resolving any queries or issues that arise.

Must hold a full UK drivers licence and have access to your own vehicle for this position.

Case Manager duties:

  • Managing a combination of mixed tenure property types
  • Managing tenancy including, providing advice for queries and issues that arise. This requires knowledge of tenancy agreements including breaches to contracts, rights and obligations in a resident’s tenancy or lease
  • Tenancy, lease and care management service; liaising with residents frequently, ensuring changes are documented efficiently, this will include vulnerable people
  • Work closely with the Local Authority
  • Actively reduce issues, including; safeguarding and Anti Social Behaviour
  • Keep up-to-date with polices and laws for; housing, welfare reforms etc.

Skills:

  • Previous experience managing tenancies and leasehold issues, or experience managing challenging situations is essential
  • Knowledge and experience of the housing sector is essential
  • Ability to advise people and resolve complex issues efficiently
  • Outstanding communication both verbally and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must hold a full UK drivers licence and have access to your own vehicle for this position.
