The Opportunity Due to on-going demand in our Infrastructure business we are currently recruiting for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to be site based supporting a Highways project in Liverpool. Reporting into the Commercial Manager this role will be responsible for carrying out financial and contractual administration on the assigned contract in accordance with Osborne Procedures, to keep costs, income and cash flow within established targets and to optimise cash flow. The role will also set profitability targets with the team, develop procurement strategy, and regularly produce financial progress reports. What are we looking for? We are looking for someone who wants to make a tangible difference in the work that they do and have commercial experience within an Infrastructure environment. You will have previous man management experience with the ability and knowledge to coach and develop. You will be an effective team player, appreciating the need to work in a collaborative manner to achieve success. You will work effectively with people at all levels and be comfortable challenging convention to ensure that we move forward as a business and that we continue to best support our customers through value driven solutions.
