Site Supervisor – Electrical Bias 

Are you an experienced supervisor, looking to work in a fast-paced and varied environment? Have you got experience of working on a variety of Facilities Management contracts, and looking for something that’s going to offer more of a challenge? I’m looking to speak with electrically biased FM supervisors, for a brand new role based in West London.

The company

You’ll be working for a rapidly expanding FM service provider, who are part of a larger group and a well recognised brand in the FM sector. The company has a strong ethos centred around customer service, and value input from their engineers – empowering everyone to have an input and impact change within the business.

The role

You’ll be based on a large static site in West London, where you’ll be responsible for overseeing 1 engineer and an electrical apprentice. You’ll report into the contract manager, who will be on-site 2 days a week, so you’ll be part of a close knit and well functioning team. The site is a mixture of corporate offices and retail units, so you’ll need to be flexible in your approach, having clients with differing needs. You’ll be a hands-on member of the team, required to tend to electrical and mechanical repairs – there are about 100 reactive calls per month to keep you busy.

What you’ll need

  • NVQ/City and Guilds Electrical qualification ideally obtained via an indentured electrical apprenticeship as well as 17th edition
  • Experience of supervising a small team within a facilities management capacity
  • Demonstrable experience of working on a variety of sites, ideally commercial offices and retail
  • Strong customer facing experience and excellent communication skills
