Reporting to the Life cycle and forward works Manager provide the operational support, guidance and direction for the implementation, delivery and effectiveness of a program of Building Condition surveys in accordance with Estates Strategy, statutory requirements, engineering good practice and management processes and procedures.
Collate, update and maintain an accurate Survey program for the Estate in line with procedures and processes and the contract.
Provide advice to the Clientfor asset renewal and replacement of building elements and systems.
Work with the Life cycle and forward works Manager to provide required technical advice to the Client on condition of the estate.
Support the subcontractor in the undertaking of condition surveys to inform the Forward Works / Lifecycle Plan.
Manage the business interface with the Supply Chain with regards to building condition surveys.
Update the Forward Works / Lifecycle Plan with data from the building condition surveys
Work with the Life cycle and forward works Manager to provide reports to the Client on overall condition.
Ad hoc duties as may be deemed necessary
Member of the institute of chartered surveyors (MRICS)
A bachelor’s degree in building surveying or approved RICS accredited degree.
NEBOSH, IOSH, or British Safety Council safety certification
Hold, have held or eligible to apply for security clearance
