Maintenance / Engineer Team Leader – Luxury Residence - £35000

Location: West London

Hours: 9am-5pm | 5 days on with weekend rotation.

Facilities: luxury accommodations, public areas, lifts, gym and swimming pool.

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance / Engineer team Leader or Manager from a Hotel or Luxury Residential background to join the Maintenance team of this luxury property.

As a technical specialist, you will manage daily repairs and planned work (in person or via subcontractors), respond to daily engineering issues and perform proactive routine maintenance and equipment inspection, being fully aware of Health and Safety legislation. You will be reporting to the GM.

Your profile:

  • Hands-on individual who can happily carry out reactive works and diagnoses
  • A strong engineer who can also oversee works carried out by contractors
  • Leader experience as you will oversee 2 sub-contracted residence engineers and the M&E contractors.

Key requirement / technical skills

  • HVAC, BMS, plumbing qualification;
  • Electrical qualifications preferred
  • Knowledge of swimming pools would be an added advantage.
  • ONC/HNC or City and Guilds Building Services
  • Good working experience of building services and controls (mechanical and electrical) is desired
  • Knowledge of BMS controls and heating and air conditioning equipment is desired
  • Working knowledge of general equipment functioning to include: Basic plumbing, painting; carpentry, electrical, TV controls; Heating and air conditioning equipment
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Previous hotel experience or Luxury residential is necessary.
  • Good communication skills at all level
  • Customer service orientated
  • Computer literate
