Are you an experienced Electrical maintenance engineer? Want an opportunity to join one of the fastest growing FM companies operating in the London area? I

This Facilities Management provider have a long history of working with prestigious clients throughout the UK, and are steadily building their reputation in the South East. Due to a recent contract win with a large, corporate blue chip organisation they are looking to expand their mobile maintenance team. 

The Role 

We are looking for someone who ideally comes from a maintenance background with an electrical bias and have have excellent experience working on large corporate buildings in the city. Your time will be spent carrying out PPM\'S and reactive work on the electrical side for a variety of clients such as :

  • Checking & testing circuit breakers and replacing them where required.
  • Tracing, diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults.
  • Carrying out electrical installation and maintenance work.
  • Carrying out new project work, design and installation.
  • Interpreting work instructions, drawings and schematic diagrams.
  • Maintaining and repairing all electrical equipment.

What you’ll need

  • Experience of Electrical maintenance within commercial buildings – you’ll need a minimum of your 17th edition and ideally have been trained via an indentured apprenticeship (City & Guilds/NVQ level 2/3 etc.)
  • Experience in a similar role, and ideally working for an FM provider so you already understand the importance of the SLA agreements in place for the contract

We are looking for someone who can be smart and presentable when dealing with the client, but are willing to turn their hand to a bit of everything. This is a foot mobile role - this company has offices in Picadilly, Moorgate and Canary Wharf and even has contracts at Buckingham Palace! 

Working Hours 

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm but flexibility may be needed for earlier starts and finishes and later starts and finishes , this flexibility will be returned if you have any unavoidable commitments.

Call-out rota is 1 in 6 and there is a call out bonus and with any hours higher than 40 paid at time and a half!
